NYPA's Real Estate Department oversees the safe operation and maintenance of:
- NYPA’s hundreds of miles of Transmission Line Right-of-Way (ROW); and
- Our Generation Facilities across New York State
Permits are typically required for any activity within the ROW or on any lands owned by NYPA. Contractors and developers should contact the appropriate Regional Administrator prior to commencing any work within the ROW or on lands owned by NYPA.
In addition, Landowners are encouraged to reach out to the Regional Administrator for their area with any questions or concerns.
